ABOUT THE TRAINER: ELISSA GIBBS

Elissa Gibbs grew up in Michigan and started riding horses when she was eight and started eventing when she was ten. After graduating from Michigan State University, she moved to Kentucky to work in the corporate world while continuing to run her horse business on the side. After a few years, Elissa took the plunge and decided to pursue a full time career with horses.

Elissa started her own business, To The Max Eventing LLC, to help further instruct and train others while continuing to succeed at the highest levels of sport herself. As an advanced level rider, Elissa provides boarding, training, coaching and sales services in the Georgetown, KY area. Elissa also contributes her time to multiple equine organizations including USEA Area 8 and Midsouth Eventing and Dressage Association.

VOLTAIRE'S MASTERCLASS

Voltaire's Masterclass (Walter) is a privately owned 6 year old Polish WB. He had a very successful 5 year old year, with a successful move up to training level, including a YEH-5 finish with a score of 88! Additional season highlights include 5 first place finishes including the Area 8 CH and the T3D. Ending his season with year end finishes of Reserve CH for the Area, 4th on the national leaderboard, and winner of the Hylofit Challenge. I plan to move him up to Prelim this spring

INEKE DANSEN

Ineke Dansen (Ineke) is a 6 year old KWPN mare. Ineke was aquired in partnership last year and successfully moved up from BN to Training level in 2019. She is also on track to do her first prelim this spring.

ARBOR LANE'S CELESTIAL

Arbor Lane's Celestial (Celeste) is a 12 year old Connemara/TB mare. She is owned by Jennifer O'Callaghan. Celeste has had several top finishes at Novice including 3rd and 5th at the Area Championships. This special mare will be offered for sale this spring

IMPERIAL PRINCESS (PRINCESS)

Category B

Imperial Princess “Princess” is a 6 year old Oldenburg/TB cross. She has started competing in eventing, jumpers, and dressage. This beautiful mare has incredible movement and scope. Clean legs and barefoot, she is very balanced and sound. Her best trait is her sweet nature and lovely personality, making her suitable for riders of all skill levels. Talented enough for a professional but easy enough for a novice. Videos available on request.

MIGHTY MOUSE (MOUSE)

Category C

Mighty Mouse is a 13 year old 15.3hh TB gelding, experienced Novice level event horse. This classy forward thinking gelding is athletic, smart, and great to work with. He is a super nice horse to gain competition mileage on. Well-schooled and willing, he is a great mount for an amateur or junior rider who wants to learn the ropes and move up through the levels. He has a successful competition record with both a Jr rider and an Adult Amateur, he is ready to give his next rider confidence and the love for the sport. Sound and fit, he is ready to take you out eventing. He is a joy to have around the barn as he is an easy keeper and easy to have around. He is sound, no injuries, good feet, and no vices. TOMATO (TOM)

Category D

Tomato "Tom" is a four year old, 16.1hh, unraced TB. Tom reminds us everyday why we do this type of work. With his sweet nature and easy disposition he makes the day a little shorter, the work a little easier, and the reward greater. He has started going to horse shows in dressage, jumpers, and just finished 2nd in his first event. This young horse is off to a great start. He is easy to take places, loads, clips, nothing bothers this guy. Clean legs and great feet make him the full package. Easiest enough for a novice rider to bring along this horse has a bright future! Additional videos available on request, price will increase with training and show experience.
